Not at all. Most people who come to their first session have never practiced Conscious Connected Breath before. I'll guide you every step of the way, explain the breathing technique, and support you throughout your experience.

There is no perfect way to breathe. This isn't about performance or "getting it right." Simply showing up with curiosity is enough. If you need to slow down, take a break, or return to your natural breath, you are always welcome to do so.

Every experience is unique. Some people feel deeply relaxed, while others notice emotions, memories, insights, or physical sensations arise. You may also experience tingling, warmth, coolness, muscle tension in the hands, emotional release, or a profound sense of peace. Whatever arises is welcomed without judgment, and I'll be there to support you throughout.

That's completely okay. Every nervous system responds differently, and every session is different. Sometimes the most meaningful shifts are subtle. There is no "right" experience, and healing doesn't have to look dramatic to be significant.

For most healthy individuals, yes. However, there are certain medical conditions where this practice may not be appropriate or may need to be modified. You'll complete a health intake before your session so we can determine whether breathwork is right for you. Your safety is always my highest priority.

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to breathe and move easily. Layers are encouraged, as body temperature can change during a session.

Breathwork is a complementary wellness practice and is not a substitute for psychotherapy, medical treatment, or mental health care. It can work beautifully alongside therapy and other healing modalities.
